Great! Here’s some helpful information to submit a competitive application.

Our Loans Can be Used for:

Applications are accepted through our secure online application portal which includes detailed instructions. Here’s what you need to know:

You do not have to complete the entire application in one sitting. You may save a draft and come back later.

All fields marked “Required” must be completed in order to advance through the application.

The person completing the application should enter Owner Information for any person owning 20% or more of the business. Each person owning 20% or more will then receive an email from Builders Patch with a link to set up an account, enter their personal financial information and upload their personal documents.

The online application includes links to Excel spreadsheets that will need to be downloaded, completed and uploaded to the application portal.

What Happens Next

  • Within a couple days of submitting all your application materials, someone from our team will reach out to confirm receipt and let you know if we need anything further. We’ll also make arrangements to collect your application fee.
  • Next, expect a call from your Loan Officer to set up a time to get to know each other and learn a bit more about your business.
  • Once we have a full picture of your business, we’ll send your application on to underwriting.
  • When a credit decision has been made, your Loan Officer will give you a call. If we are able to help, they will explain the terms of the loan and any closing conditions. If we aren’t able to help, your Loan Officer will explain the reasons and recommend next steps.
  • We can typically close on the loan within 30 days of loan decision if all closing conditions are met.
  • Our relationship doesn’t stop at closing. We keep up with borrowers to celebrate their successes and offer support when challenges arise.
